Mobix Labs Inc. announced completion of its previously announced acquisition of Cosemi Technologies Inc. The Cosemi portfolio provides Mobix Labs with a broad range of hybrid active optical cables, optical transceivers, and optical engines for latency-free connectivity in a variety of settings, including data center, home entertainment and consumer electronics markets (see, for example, "Cosemi unveils LS Series active optical cables" and "Cosemi buys Optella, eyes expansion into 5G fronthaul, FTTx,"). Terms of the transaction remain undisclosed.

The deal expands Mobix Labs’ activities beyond its wireless base. Mobix Labs’ radio frequency products and TRUE5G chipset provide integration and latency-free performance for simplifying the design of mmWave 5G wireless products across multiple customer applications.
