Glo Fiber Business links to Virginia Beach cable station via Globalinx

Glo Fiber Business, the business services arm of U.S. cable MSO Shentel, says it has reached an agreement to link its network into Globalinx, a Tier III data center in Virginia Beach.

Glo Fiber Business, the business services arm of U.S. cable MSO Shenandoah Telecommunications Co. (Shentel; Nasdaq: SHEN), says it has reached an agreement to link its network into Globalinx, a Tier III data center in Virginia Beach. Globalinx will enable Glo Fiber Business to offer customers access to the submarine cable networks that land at the Virginia Beach Cable Landing Station.

The Globalinx data center campus provides data center and colocation services as well as meet-me-room facilities. It also links to the Virginia Beach Cable Landing Station, which provides access to such submarine cables as MAREA and BRUSA.
