August 14, 1006 Minneapolis, MN -- ADC today announced that Windstream Supply (formerly Alltel Communications Products), a subsidiary of Windstream Communications, has placed a stocking order for ADC OmniReach products, including the newly announced OmniReach Fiber Distribution Hub (FDH) 3000. Windstream Supply is the first ADC partner to offer stocked quantities of the FDH 3000 for sales to non-affiliated customers.
The Windstream Supply order also includes OmniReach FDH 3000 'Mini Plug-and Play' Splitter Modules, Multi-Port Service Terminals (MSTs), hardened connectors, and drop cables.

Designed for operational efficiency and scalability, the OmniReach FDH 3000 provides for rapid connection between fiber-optic cables and passive optical splitters in the outside plant that facilitates fast service connection and reconfiguration. ADC says its FDH simplifies FTTx network installation, maintenance, and management from the central office to the outside plant.
