Integrated test system

The asa 312 network information computer is a portable integrated test instrument with broadband capabilities through OC-48 (2.5 Gbits/sec). With a software/firmware-based architecture, the device replaces many traditional hardware-based test sets required to install, monitor, and maintain T-Carrier, sonet, and atm networks, according to the manufacturer. The system is available in a 10.5-lb pack age and can simultaneously and independently test protocols from DS-0 (64 kbits/sec) through OC-48.
