Telscape International, Inc. completes installation and interconnection between Texas and Mexico

Mar. 30, 2001--Telscape International, Inc. announced it has successfully completed the installation of dark fiber between McAllen, Texas and Reynosa, Mexico.

Telscape International, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSCP) announced it has successfully completed the installation of dark fiber between McAllen, Texas and Reynosa, Mexico.

In addition, Telscape announced the completion of a fully protected OC-12 interconnection between their International gateway facility in Houston, TX and their SDH fiber ring in Mexico. The completion of these two major installations will allow Telscape to provide a broad array of telecommunication services originating from both Mexico and the U.S.
