Fiber-optic receiver

The HFM1222-331 fiber-optic receiver serves computer LAN 16-Mbit/sec token ring applications. A PIN photodiode and a preamplifier are mounted in the fiber-optic connector to provide maximum shielding, amplification and current-to-voltage conversion. The postamplifier integrated circuit provides final amplification to the logic output levels. The unit has a 500-ohm output drive and -31- to -11-dBm sensitivity. Operating temperature is 0 to +70°C.
