Fibernow’s Wavetechs acquisition beefs up its business fiber and VoIP solutions set
Fibernow, a Florida-based fiber broadband provider, has acquired Wavetechs, a boutique Managed Service Provider (MSP) known for its hands-on approach to small and medium businesses.
The acquisition, which closed in the first quarter, includes Wavetech’s entire team, proprietary product suite, and customer base.
Wavetechs will be integrated into the Fibernow Business division, rounding out the company’s SMB offering with a full suite of managed IT services, implementation support, and a customer-first service model.
Fibernow said the deal positions it as a full-service provider to small and medium-sized businesses, offering fiber internet, hosted voice, and fully managed IT solutions under one roof.
With a service-first philosophy, Wavetechs has built a loyal following through responsive support, seamless implementations, and a reputation for knowing its clients by name. Their managed services portfolio includes network security, endpoint protection, cloud backup, and on-site support, which will now be available to existing Fibernow Business clients.
The acquisition provides benefits to the existing customer bases:
- Fibernow Business clients gain access to expanded IT and network implementation services.
- Wavetechs customers benefit from enhanced internet with exclusive offers on Fibernow’s high-speed fiber network, voice upgrades and 24/7 customer support.
Luis Rodriguez, Fibernow's CEO, said the Wavetechs acquisition underscores Fibernow’s continued investment in serving the often-underserved SMB market and its plan to grow organically and through acquisitions that add complementary elements to its existing business lines.
“This acquisition marks an important step forward in executing our aggressive growth strategy, which combines organic expansion with targeted strategic acquisitions,” he said. “Wavetechs aligns seamlessly with our M&A roadmap and brings a strong cultural and operational fit.”
