Attenuator and B-clamps
The sga attenuator and B-clamps produce variable attenuation in ranges of 1 to 25 dB with no added reflectance. The attenuator is used widely in cable-TV installations. The B-clamp is used during emergency restorations, cutovers, or in any circumstance that might expose a technician to unsafe levels of laser energy from an exposed singlemode fiber.
