Ciena WaveLogic Encryption
As the industry's first coherent 100G/200G wire-speed encryption solution, WaveLogic Encryption provides a highly secure, simple-to-implement bulk-encryption approach to protect all in-flight
traffic on the network, 24/7, as it spans the globe traveling any distance. Designed to secure today's web-scale networks and backed by Ciena's coherent optics, WaveLogic Encryption offers new optical-layer encryption capabilities on the widely deployed 6500 Packet-Optical Platform to match all high-capacity infrastructure needs – from 10G to 100G, 200G and beyond, from metro to submarine distances.
Ciena's WaveLogic Encryption is protocol agnostic – allowing for the encryption of a wide variety of traffic types (Ethernet, Fibre Channel, OTN, SONET, SDH, etc.) – without any impact to performance.
Judge's comment: "Nice to have a higher security in a coherent transport system."
