The series of single-mode pump lasers leverages an efficient design and lean manufacturing processes to advance the performance and scalability of 980 nm pumps, says Lumentum.
The series of single-mode pump lasers, which includes the S32, S29, M31, and M29 devices, leverages an efficient design and lean manufacturing processes to advance the performance and scalability of 980 nm pumps, says Lumentum. The high output power, low power consumption, and reduced form factor enable customers to deploy high power and high density EDFAs into ROADM blades.

Judge’s comment: “The Lumentum pump laser series is a nice extension of existing products into the L-band and provide enhanced efficiency over competing solutions in the market.”
