Comcast Business (NASDAQ:CMCSA) has been busy. The company has expanded its fiber networks in Washington and Connecticut, and has also notched a deployment win in California.

In Washington, Comcast Business is expanding its commercial fiber network, designed for speeds up to 10 Gbps, to underserved commercial areas in Kent, WA. The network buildout is intended to bring Comcast Business Ethernet services to more than 150 local businesses for the first time. Kent's economic base includes manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, professional services and retail companies.

In Connecticut, Comcast Business' full portfolio of Ethernet services, designed for speeds up to 10 Gbps, is now available in four New Haven County communities, including Prospect, Naugatuck, Beacon Falls and Bethany.

In California, Inn Marin, a boutique hotel in Marin County with green lodging accommodations and sustainability practices, is getting Comcast Business' 400 Mbps fiber-optic Ethernet solution. The Inn is now live with its high-speed Internet and will also be getting Comcast's voice services.
