FORETHOUGHT.net has partnered with High Country Developers to provide fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) Internet to homes and businesses within the Railyard Leadville community in Leadville, CO.

"By building the fiber-to-the-home Internet network in partnership with the developers of Railyard Leadville, together we are taking an important step in providing the citizens of Leadville access to reliable fiber-optic Internet," said Jawaid Bazyar, president of FORETHOUGHT.net. "This partnership is very important to us as we work toward our vision of removing the digital divide throughout rural Colorado. Today we are one step closer."

Railyard Leadville is designed to be a walkable, diverse, and sustainable community.

High Country Developers Manager John Lichtenegger said: "We wanted to find the best possible solution for Internet, TV and telecommunication services for our new community. We interviewed a number of telecommunication companies and followed up with end users to ensure that our selection would be a reliable, forward thinking provider of broadband services. Our team found a great match with FORETHOUGHT.net, who will build a fiber-to-the-home network with flexible service offerings, demonstrated reliability and competitive pricing. We are delighted to be able to offer our future residents this desirable amenity."

The FORETHOUGHT.net FTTH network is designed to provide Railyard residents with up to 1 Gbps symmetrical Internet service, as well as telephone service. FORETHOUGHT.net expects the network to be fully upgraded by early 2019.

"This FTTH build-out in Leadville is part of the ambitious FORETHOUGHT.net plan to light up entire communities throughout rural Colorado," Bazyar said. "High Country Developers has been great to work with, and we look forward to continued partnership moving forward."

FORETHOUGHT.net offers gigabit fiber Internet in Colorado service areas including Denver metro, Grand Junction, Cortez, Durango, Silverton, Eagle County, and San Miguel County, plus Farmington, NM.
