Cable ONE Launches Gigabit Internet in NM, MS

Cable ONE (NYSE:CABO) has launched its GigaONE gigabit Internet service in Roswell, NM, and Biloxi and Gulfport, MS. The company also recently launched the DOCSIS 3.0-based service in Ponca City, OK.

Cable ONE first announced plans to launch gigabit in 200+ markets last November, and the company says the service is now available in the majority of its markets. To date, the service has been deployed in parts of Alabama, Idaho, Nebraska, Iowa, North Dakota, Minnesota, Arizona, Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Mississippi.

Cable ONE says it has invested more than $500 million over the past five years on network upgrades and enhancements.
