Jaxon Lang takes the reins at AFL as president and CEO

Lang takes over for Jody Gallagher, who has resigned.

AFL reveals parent company Fujikura Ltd. has promoted AFL COO Jaxon Lang to the roles of president and CEO effective immediately. Lang takes over for Jody Gallagher, who has resigned.

Lang has been with AFL less than a year, having joined the company this past January (see AFL names Jaxon Lang as chief operating officer). He briefly served as acting CEO before being moved into his current positions.

“With over two decades in the telecommunications industry, Jaxon brings unparalleled leadership and a proven track record of success,” said Naoki Okada, CEO of Fujikura Ltd. “I have a strong belief that AFL will continue to provide industry leading solutions, achieve profitable growth and attain long-term success.”

“As I transition into this new role, my focus remains on exceeding customer expectations, strengthening our core business operations and driving product innovation,” said Lang. “I look forward to leading the company toward continued growth in the years ahead,” Lang continued.
