AFL buys Australia’s Optimal Cable Services
Fiber-optic cable, connecitivty, and accessories supplier AFL says it has acquired Optimal Cable Services of Melbourne, Australia. Optimal Cable Services also manufactures fiber cable and provides connectivity products.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The new acquisition manufactures uni-tube, stranded loose tube, armored loose tube, high count loose tube, riser, and all-dielectric self-supporting (ADSS) cables. It also offers composite, cords, and ancillary products, as well as patchcords, pigtails, connectors, adaptors, tooling, test equipment, and media converters. It will continue to operate out of Melbourne.
