The Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (Cyta) has deployed Infinera’s (NASDAQ:INFN) DTN-X on the ALEXANDROS subsystem of the TE-North Cable System, which connects Asia and Africa to Europe.
Cyta, which provides a wide range of communications services in Cyprus, Cyta operates and maintains the ALEXANDROS subsystem of Telecom Egypt’s TE-North Cable System, which runs 3,600 km to connect Abu Talat, Egypt, to Marseilles, France, with a branch to Pentaskhinos, Cyprus.
