Denver-based service provider FORETHOUGHT.net has chosen to deploy end-to-end MPLS equipment in its fiber-optic network from Telco Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of BATM Advanced Communications (LSE: BVC,TASE: BATM). The new fiber network will be used to offer secure, highly scalable, and resilient broadband Ethernet services to businesses in the Denver metro area.
FORETHOUGHT.net offers enterprise-level cloud-computing, Internet, voice, and data services. For example, FORETHOUGHT.net MAXX Fiber Broadband service offers guaranteed bandwidth at speeds of 30 Mbps to 1 Gbps.
To support such offerings, FORETHOUGHT.net will deploy using Telco Systems’ MPLS T-Marc demarcation and T-Metro aggregation platforms. The resultant 100% fiber-optic network will connect hundreds of office buildings across the Denver metro area.
“We believe in providing our customers with reliable and flexible fiber-based broadband services while securely connecting them at a fraction of the cost without the hassle of dealing with major carriers. We were looking for a cost-effective solution that will enable us to offer all these benefits,” said Jawaid Bazyar, FORETHOUGHT.net president. “Using Telco Systems’ T-Metro and T-Marc MPLS solutions, we were able to gain the benefits of MPLS’ resiliency, redundancy, and end-to-end control at a price competitive to other vendors’ Ethernet-only solutions.”
“MAXX Fiber Broadband services from FORETHOUGHT.net help small and mid-size businesses grow through superior, scalable, high-performance CE2.0 compliant technology, with the added benefits of MPLS, at a fraction of the expense of traditional transport models,” said Reini Florin, vice president of sales, North America for Telco Systems. “We are proud to be a part of FORETHOUGHT.net's commitment to deploy a broad portfolio of enterprise-level cloud-computing, Internet, voice, and data solutions in the State of Colorado.”
